The Air Jordan 1 Mid, while somewhat overlooked in favor of the OGs, continues to outdo itself, aiming to uncover another classic reimagined with a scheme appropriately dubbed the “Reverse Black Toe.” Red tones are dosed sparingly, finding place only on the wings and Jumpman logo, while the rest of the construction remains a simple black and white smooth leather. Panels from the toe box to the tongue opt for the previous hue in an almost worldly way, following the blacked-out aesthetic of the ankle tabs, heel wrap, and swoosh, which sit against the much lighter background.
